 Welcome to the APA of Manatee and Sarasota Counties Homepage!
If you have never played in the APA, or maybe never even played pool, don't worry. The APA is the biggest amateur league in the country. It doesn't matter who you are or how good you are, the APA is all about fun! It's a night out with your friends, family, or co-workers, where you can meet great people, and have a great time. With the Equalizer® handicap system, anyone can play and everyone can win. So round up a team, and get ready for some fun!

| Singles Regionals Results

Well, Singles Regionals were this weekend and our players put in a fantastic performance! Over two thirds of the people that went finished in the top four on the board.
Congratulations go to Cathy Swackhammer who took first place on the skill level 1,2,&3 board for 9-ball! She is joining Steve Knoll, who qualified in the Fall Singles Regionals and they are both headed to Las Vegas next month to participate in the National Singles Championship! Best of luck to both of you!
Congratulations to Daniel Moore, Ric Bolduc, and Janie Amano who each took second place! Daniel played on a very tough skill level 2,3 board in 8-ball and only an unfortunate scratch kept him from Vegas. Ric Bolduc, too, was only one ball from winning. Janie Amano faced Cathy Swackhammer, who she had sent to the lose side of the board in the first round and Cathy was determined to beat her! They all recieved a plaque for their excellent finishes.
