 Welcome to the APA of Manatee and Sarasota Counties Homepage!
If you have never played in the APA, or maybe never even played pool, don't worry. The APA is the biggest amateur league in the country. It doesn't matter who you are or how good you are, the APA is all about fun! It's a night out with your friends, family, or co-workers, where you can meet great people, and have a great time. With the Equalizer® handicap system, anyone can play and everyone can win. So round up a team, and get ready for some fun!

Top Gun was a huge success! We had 46 players vying for the top spots and everybody had a great time.
Thanks go out to Livingston's Billiards for being a fantastic host. Dave and Ryan, you guys are the best!
Here are the results:
SL 1-4 Bracket
1st Place - Larry Masotti of Fat Sam's Pub - $145
2nd Place - Jeff Reeves of Firkin & Fox - $70
3rd Place - Bill Zingg of Evie's Tavern - $40
Top Finishing Female - Kim Crockett of Last Call Tavern - $25
SL 5-9 Bracket
1st Place - Steve Knoll of Club 41 - $145
2nd Place - Ric Bolduc of Fat Sam's Pub - $70
3rd Place - Frank Bagrozzi of Livingston's - $40
Top Finishing Female - Dee Frazier of Last Call Tavern - $25
Winners also received an engraved medallion. Over all, we gave away $560 on Saturday!
We also raffled off a brand new cue, two t-shirts, and a Cue It Up cue holder signed by WPBA Hall of Famer, Robin Dodson.
The winners were:
Cue Stick: Kim Crockett - she got her choice of the fourteen cues we had to offer and she picked a beauty! A brand new Pink Candy Players cue worth over $130!

Thanks go to our fantastic Division Reps, Shad Richardson, Jason Pelley, and Stacee Stecklein and to all the rest of you who pitched in and helped out. There were so many of you and we couldn't have had a successful event without you.
